Sweet Grass Culture Arts Festival: The White Dress Collection

The smell of South Carolina Low-Country Sweetgrass is in the air. It's not strong but it's there. 

Like the Gullah Culture it puts a smile on your face. There is something good about having a hand-weaved Sweet-rass basket in the house and an original art work on the wall.

The SweetGrass Culture Arts Festival

 this year will be on

 June 2nd in Mt. Pleasant (Charleston)

under the historic Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge.

 Patriots Point Memorial Water Park will be filled with sweet grass baskets, fine art and almost any type craft you can think of. 

My family can not enter the studio during the whole month of May. It is too pack with energy, canvases and other art work. 

If you love art place this date on your calendar or better yet make it a weekend and enjoy the friendly city.
