It has only been a week since her husband (Forrest Acres Policeman Greg Alia) was gunned down on duty, yet with the strength of her Faith in God Kassy Alia steps in to help during the aftermath of the South Carolina flood. South Carolina continues to show the world how to Trust in God. We are not perfect people but with the belief in God we can endure all.

Time moves on and healing is slow for those who loose love ones.
Honoring those who are honorable is the right thing to do.

Intersection to be renamed in honor
 of fallen Forest Acres officer
 
One of Columbia's biggest intersections,  Forest Drive and Beltline Boulevard,  in Forest Acres will forever be know as “Officer Gregory Thomas Alia Boulevard.”
