Love In Charleston

New Oil Painting
Love Stands Alone
16 x 20

On a dock off the coast of Charleston SC a lady named Love stands alone.
Her right hand is over her heart as she clutches a cross with her left hand
as she looks to the heavens and praises God for his daily blessing. It is all a symbol of her willingness to stand alone forever if she has to.

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails...
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
