How does a Christian know if they are traveling on the right road?
There are nine Character traits that they must develop. In the Bible they are called Fruit. Fruit only bear on trees that are properly nourished. The nourishment a Christian need is the Word of God.
With the Word they will bear Christian Fruit.
But the Fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23
