Wheat or Weed?

In your mind you may be thinking that things are stacked against you.

 And, you may feel as if you are all alone in the way you see things. But, remember that God has seen it all and knows what you are going through inward and outwards. Your frustration is because you feel like you need to change everything thing you come across or see. Not only is that not possible, it is also like a ball and chain on your Faith walking. God has given you the freedom to live by your choices. The closer you get to Him the better your choices are...what others do is up to them. 

 

Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.'"

Matthew 13:30

Evil

comes in all sizes, shapes and colors. 

It comes from near and far. 

It strikes when you are at your weakest. 

 Evil does not care who it uses or how much you care.

Evil will destroy if you allow it to find a place to anchor. 

All it needs is an opening to place at least one tentacle.

 

Run from Evil

 

Scripture:

         Do what is good and run from evil so that you may live! 

Then the LORD God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper, 

just as you have claimed. Hate evil and love what is good; turn your courts into true halls of justice. Perhaps even yet the LORD God of Heaven’s Armies will have mercy on the remnant of his people.

Consider Your Prayers Carefully

Consider your prayers very carefully. The prayers of the faithful will be answered. God does not give a time frame on when but the Word tells us that they will be answered. (Just an example: Mark 11:21 -25.) While you think of this also remember how many parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, other relatives and friends have prayers sent up to God. There is no way to count the number of prayers that God deals with daily. Your prayer may be in direct conflict with someone praying or have already prayed for you.

 So...please think hard about your prayer before you ask God to do something for you.

Time To Reflect

When I was a child, my speech, feelings, and thinking were all those of a child; now that I am an adult, I have no more use for childish ways.  What we see now is like a dim image in a mirror; then we shall see face-to-face. What I know now is only partial; then it will be complete—as complete as God's knowledge of me.

Meanwhile these three remain: faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of these is love.

 

Meditate Day and Night

 

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!

 

But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.
