Okras And Its Love Of It

Okra has a long history in the South. There is no Gumbo with out it. It is also breaded and fired. And, there is even a Festival in Irmo, South Carolina that features it as the main attraction. It's called the Okra Strut. However, you ask anyone in the west or North and you may get a weird look back.
