Sweet Grass basket weaving is a low-country tradition and way of life. The rights to harvest , weave and sell baskets are sold only to family members.
Each weaver has their own style.
If you are in Charleston, SC anyone will point you to the Market. The weavers weave and sell all in various places throughout the area.
Just remember the grass is rare and the weavers are dwindling.
