To All Sports Fans

 

 

As an avid sports fan I know how easy it is to get caught up in the day to day sports news.  We have teams that we feel represent us on the field, court, ice or arena. However, it is important to remember that each team whether high school, college or pro is made up of individual players. And, each player has his or her own life that they are dealing with. Although it is a life they choose to live, the public arena leaves little room for private errors. Please keep in mind that like in public life the good majority often stands in the shadow of the abusive minority. Sports have and hopefully always are a way to escape our daily grind for a few hours and enjoy celebrating, wishing and even disappointments.

 

In the end when we return to the grind we are still where we are and they are still where they are. Enjoy sports for what they are and let players do what they do best. If for some reason they over step what they should be doing, let’s not over step what we should be doing.
