It's Chicken-man Time

/

Columbia artist
Ernest Lee

Just off the corner of Harden and Gervais Streets in Columbia, SC is a very familiar site to most locals . It's where artist Ernest Lee set's up his tent and sell the original Chicken-man paintings. even though he is there all year, football season seems to be the time that you think about the Chicken-man. His famous chicken paintings come in an array of backgrounds, colors and themes. You can even request a new type if you don't see anything you like.
I love to see another artist do well. If you are in Columbia, SC stop by and tell him you where told about his artwork through a friend.

Well Life: Victorious Man (Total Praise)

Stunning Graffiti

It's a shame that his work has to be produced in secret.
The reason is simple. DALeast is a graffiti art.  DALeast, who doesn't reveal his real name, lives in Cape Town but travels world tagging walls in different continents.

Extremely large works of art done in a swift manner are not only stunningly beautiful they are also genius in designs. C;ick through to see his other works.

Game Time

Next week is a new chapter in the Legette family. This house will not be the same. It has been eighteen great years of cries, laughs and developments. Now that practice is over Life begins. To our son, may God give you the best of the best filled with joy each day.

Live according to the Spirit of Christ and you will not fall to the things that the world tempts you with.

Well Life: Plank

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Full Bloom

The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high:
he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
And wisdom and knowledge shall be the
stability of thy times, and strength of salvation:
the fear of the LORD is his treasure.
Isaiah 33:5,6 KJV

Distractions Can Kill

The problem with progress is adjusting to change without being killed. Most of us feel like we are capable of doing many things at the same time. If you notice lately, there are very few parents teaching our kids to finish one thing before moving on to the next. We consider it an achievement to do several task all at the same time. Our favorite words are Multi-task and progress. There however is one word that stops all of this if a distraction causes us to daydream at the wrong time...death.

The Finger

Listen... I am as much of a bumbling-tourist as anyone when traveling but this takes things to a whole new level. Is it over zealousness or lack of respect? I don't know about you but when I go into a museum I'm afraid to even chew gum for fear it will fall out and cause damage to a piece. To actually touch a six-hundred year old sculpture (yet alone break it) take a special set. Maybe the museum can use them for glue.
