South Carolina's Colonial Cup

http://www.carolina-cup.org/index.php

Thanksgiving and horse racing.

The heavily wooded and peaceful small town of Camden, South Carolina is a lovely place to spend a few days – or maybe a lifetime. There are many historic sites to visit, lots of antique shops to peruse and plenty of parks in which to take a quiet stroll, but mostly, Camden is about horses. Thoroughbred horses.

What's Your Core?

You are no closer to what you want to be if you don’t know what you are made of.  What and who you are depends on what’s at the center of your life. The center of anyone’s life can be found in the things that they spend the most time doing. What are you spending your time on? Knowing who made you helps you get a strong core. Spend time with Christ. He’ll lead you to who you really are.

Something as simple as splashing water is breathtaking.
To God be the Glory. Take a look at how an artist captures waves.

Secrets to Muscle Growth

Spread Out Your Protein

This much is obvious from the food tower: To build muscle, you need more protein. But men who divide their daily protein among six smaller meals instead of three larger ones build muscle faster, say scientists at Skidmore College. "Try to eat 100 grams [more than half of your recommended intake] by lunch," says Alwyn Cosgrove, C.S.C.S., owner of Results Fitness in California. Three eggs for breakfast, a midmorning shake, and grilled chicken and Greek yogurt for lunch will do the trick.

Tea for Paint

.

I have spilled many a coffee cups on artwork in progress and tossed them away.
Now I find out they all could have been master pieces in the making.

Gerard Toni, 38, has been painting
with hot drinks for six years.

This is very creative. I love the tones.
I can see this incorporated into my ink drawings. Don't hate me.
Nothing is new that hadn't been done already. Everybody takes

Respect the NFL and the Elders

Much respect to Hines Ward. This is an insane race. To complete the course ... Hines had to swim, ride his bike and run for insane lengths -- 2.4 miles, 112 miles and 26.2 miles, respectively.

If you have never had a chance to attend a Southern State Fair you have missed a part a part of  being a happy child. Just take a look at the picture above. It is an expression that every child has on their face on each ride. Rain, wind, cold and especially sunshine, the look doesn't change. No matter how old you get, or how much money you have dropped at a State Fair you will never forget the joy of being a kid in mid-fall in the South for about fifteen days.
