What Is The Dutch Reach?

 

 

Have you heard of The Dutch Reach?

 

Well... I can say I haven't. This makes a lot of since but it will take a great deal of practice. Having been doing the opposite for life, to switch will be a chore. The benefits however will be for you and others on the road. Simply by using the opposite hand to open the car door forces you to look in the direction of danger and to open the car door with out the fast outward swing that we are accustom to doing. By doing this passing motorist and cyclist will thank you.

I am going to practice the Dutch Reach starting today.
