Skull Creek Boathouse Restaurant

Found another great spot to munch on the island.
Great lunch menu.

Skull Creek Boathouse is part of Hilton Head Island history. Built in the early 1980s, the restaurant and outdoor bar were originally part of the Schilling Boathouse, once the largest dry dock boat storage facility on the Island. The restaurant went through a transformation several years later when it was expanded to become Boathouse II.

Umbrellas

Auld Lang Syne?

All together now!

Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind ?

Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and auld lang syne* ?
CHORUS:

For auld lang syne, my jo (or my dear), for auld lang syne,

we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet, for auld lang syne.

And surely ye’ll be your pint-stowp ! and surely I’ll be mine !

And we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet, for auld lang syne.
CHORUS

We twa hae run about the braes, and pu’d the gowans fine ;

But we’ve wander’d mony a weary fit, sin auld lang syne.
CHORUS

We twa hae paidl’d i' the burn, frae morning sun till dine ;

But seas between us braid hae roar’d sin auld lang syne.
CHORUS

And there’s a hand, my trusty fiere ! and gie's a hand o’ thine !

And we’ll tak a right gude-willy waught, for auld lang syne.

When Is Art Too Ugly?

Click through to see some of the interesting art that some are saying is too ugly. One man's trash is another man's treasure. However, I do agree with some of the picks. What do you think?

A White Christmas...Not

A White Christmas would be nice sometimes. But, I'll take a little beach weather in the seventies and sunshine most of the time. Awwww... Hilton Head Island will always give me peace. LOL so much so I can't even think right now.
Enjoy ..
Merry Christmas.

Did You Miss The Call Also?

I hope they didn’t take it personal when I didn't answered the phone. I only let it ring a few times. But, when it reads Unknown Caller, I’m not too anxious to pick it up quickly. That would be the only thing I can think of as to why “Garden and Guns” left me out of the 100 Southern Artist article. A missed call…yes that has to be it.

 Note to self....Answer the phone!

I still like you Garden and Gun's.

Other than not having me in it the interviews are great. Congratulations to Jonathan Greene and Leo Twiggs (both from South Carolina).

This is just a reminder to those of you like me that don’t answer the phone sometimes. Who knows it could be an opportunity knocking…ringing.

Click this article to get to it.
