Dance is made up of streams of movement and pauses, so action refers not only to steps and sequences, but also to pauses and moments of relative stillness.

Clean Your Damn Nose

"Clean Your Damn Nose"
Art Print

In any house in my neighborhood (while growing up in the sixties) this phrase was repeated often. It meant several things.
  1. Actually keep you physical nose free of crustation or runs…LOL.
  1. Don’t look for trouble.
  1. And, Mind your own business.
With Twitter, #Instatgram #Facebook #Snapchat, etc. it looks as if we are far from that era.
Dose it mean anything to you?

Please respond by comment.
If you are brave enough add your age. I would like to see when this changed.

Venice Museum Reopens

https://www.theartnewspaper.com/news/venice-floods-museums

High winds and high tide combine to cause a flood of Venice, Italy.

And, after a historic flood Venice art museums are back open.

A spokeswoman for The Peggy Guggenheim Foundation says that “the museum closed at 12 noon [on 29 October], but the high tide did not affect the interior of the museum.”

Heisman Time Again

It’s getting close again. The race for the Heisman trophy is officially on. Stats are piling up but it always seems to Conor out to exposure more that stats. I guess that’s why QBs are always front runners.
Who do you think will win?

Oops 1.4 Million Dollars in the Shredder

Banksy strikes again. European Sensational artist causes a stir again. His street paintings always cause a commotion when they pop up, so why would you think one of his painting would sell without a hitch. He built a shredder within the frame of a painting for auction at one of the most influential  galleries in the world.

The artwork, titled
Girl With Red Balloon,

had just been sold at Sotheby's Auction House for 1.12M US when suddenly it began to drop down through its frame which concealed a shredder and sliced the piece into strips. It's unclear whether the auction house will provide a refund for the artwork, or if it has in fact gone up in value.
