The Creator Never Stops Amazing Me

The Creator Never Stops Amazing Me
I am not referring to Dan Lester,  the artist. The artist is only the instrument placed here to translate messages. The gifts that God pours into each of us are beautiful when we are in tuned with His messages. No matter what technological advances come they all come from God.

God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.John 1:13NLT

Our advancements can be used to express something of worth or something of little value.

Dr. Rick Higgins & Lessons In Leadership

Dr. Rick Higgins

Professor of Discipleship, Columbia International University

Followers of Christianity however must acknowledge the teachings of Jesus,
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. (John 14:6)
You may think this verse is exclusive and you are correct; however, Jesus does not give us the option to accept Him as a good teacher but not as the Messiah. Syncretism may seem appealing so one can pay homage to all religions but Jesus calls us to follow Him. Are you following a way other than Jesus? Solomon wisely observes, “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death”. (Proverbs 14:12, 16:25).

Don't Give Up

Is it about that time already? I guess it is. Three weeks passes quickly. That is about the time it takes for a new year’s resolution to grow cold. And, the gym is the place that it hits the hardest. This is just a friendly reminder to hang-in-there. You may have taken on too much at once, started out too fast or a little of both but remember that the results you are looking for aren't too far off. Your body will appreciate it more that you know. We are creatures that perform better when we are in a fit state. Man y sicknesses enjoy hanging around when they have plenty of fat too much on or hide in. Speed up the flow of your blood’s circulation for at least thirty minutes a day and you will see and feel a difference.
You can do it.
Don’t allow you mind to fool you this year.
It is not too hard. Just do it.

The Wise Man

Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser;
teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.

I'm Too Slow To Think This One Up

An artist who can only draw in his sleep is hoping to raise £1million by selling his entire collection of work. Lee Hadwin, 37, places pads of paper around his London flat for the bizarre talent which he picked up at the age of four. He has drawn numerous portraits of screen siren Marilyn Monroe but most of his artwork is of circle-inspired abstract pieces.

(Circle-Inspired master pieces, great name...LOL)

Who's at Fault?

There is a lot said about Kate Middleton (Duchess of Cambridge), the artist Paul Emsley and the result of his art. Some of the new critics are taking it to the extreme with their joking. Even though I find them amusing I must as one question. Who commissioned the artist? Well I guess I have one other question, did anyone involved ever take a look at his portfolio. The style of the artist does not change because of the subject. Please take a look at his past portraits before you consider the blame if there is to be any blame. Compared to the other portraits that Paul created this is right inline of his style. I’m not saying I like it but he does have the right to create what he sees as an artist.

Talent From Above

Each of us is given at least one talent from our Master. The days we live are considered practice sessions. Like in school some of us don’t recognize it/them until later in life; we may even graduate from school not knowing. This however does not give us an excuse. Each day we live one more practice day. Have you ever noticed that those with certain talent in sports, music, math or whatever tend to go about it with ease? Well, that may seem unfair at first. But, remember this the more talent you receive the more you are required to practice. Like I said earlier, everyone has at least one. Meditate on what you like first, secondly listen to what people around you say you are good at and thirdly ask God to reveal more clearly what you have. He can’t reveal anything over some of the noise in your life. Meditation requires quiet time. Good luck and enjoy the music you make with your new hidden talent/s.

SC Gamecock Bowl Win

Jadeveon Clowney hits Vincent Smith, forcing the Michigan running back to fumble.
Smith still hasn't found his helmet.

Don't make a Gamecack mad. What a hit. What a response to a wrong.
Enjoy the win Gamecocks.
