"What does a palmetto tree taste like?"
 
Is this a reasonable question? Who would ever think of eating a sixty-five foot tree?
 
Well the palmetto tree is also know as the Sabal Palmetto.

 It is also actually eatable.

 The tree is also named the Cabbage Palmetto.
 
With that said, of course it does taste like cabbage.

I don't know why but that is exactly what I thought it would taste like.
