Sweat and the lost of electrolytes can cause big problems. Thirst is not a good way to measure hydration.

Happy Easter

 

My prayer is for all to have a great Easter weekend. This is a time that I am full of joy. Thank God for His Son (Jesus) and the sacrifice He made so that we can LIVE. No matter where you are I hope that you take the time to thank Him. My son is still in college and will not be home on Easter Sunday but we had time with him during the week. We met him in Atlanta, Ga. to continue my wife’s month of celebration (Birthday, Easter, Anniversary, and Wine Day? LOL) Arianna Grande is one of her favorites. So she was surprised with tickets and meeting her son. Aaaaahh that’s so sweet. I know. We had a great time with everything. The only draw back was traffic. I watched the news when the fire on I-85 happened. It did not register how much havoc this causes Atlanta. Everyone in the city is affected by the lost of such a main interstate artery. I feel for you Atlanta. And, I pray that things are repaired quickly.  

Regardless of whatever is going on for you this weekend please take the time and give God Praise for His love for us. If you don’t know Him just stop and pray for Him to reveal to you who He is.

Tim Tebow Welcome To Columbia SC

 

 

In his first appearance and first at-bat as a Firefly in Columbia, SC Former Florida Gator standout and Pro Football player Tim Tebow hits a two run homer. The FireFlies are glowing. It could've have stated any better for the season. A full house for the opening day game with celebrity Tim Tebow knocking one out of the park, will definitely help the ticket booth sales.

 

Congrats to Tem Tebow , the FireFlies and Columbia, SC.
There is a lot happening (in sports) in the city in such a short time.

Firefly Tim Tebow goes yard again in Sundays (April 9th) game.

 

 

For the second time in as many games Tim Tebow knocks one out of the park.

This time a three run homer. Tim and Columbia are having fun.

April brings the best golfers to Augusta, Georgia. Columbia, South Carolina is just about an hours drive away with many luxury hotels and a great night-life atmosphere, so you know this is where the golfers and wannabe golfers spend their nights after a long day walking the course following the pros.

Southern State Of Mind

Country singer and Gamecock alum. will keep his word to the Gamecock Nation. His promise to perform a concert if the football team won six games and get into a bowl will be fulfilled tonight. It looks like more than a sandstorm is brewing in the city but I don't think the students will mind. He has promised them a show and from what the word is there may be even more in-stored for them.

The atmosphere was electric inside of the Colonial Life Arena.
It was set up like real SEC football game at Williams Brice Stadium.
