Art News: The Story Behind the Tyler Mitchell Beyonce Vogue Cover

https://www.cnn.com/style/article/vogue-september-cover-tyler-mitchell/index.html

The story behind the very interesting Vogue cover by Tyler Mitchell.

The colors jump off the pages in the Beyoncé cover and pages with beautiful floral, crisps whites and golden tone skin. It's historic but not because of Beyoncé (She's been on the cover four other times.) Fashion photographer, Tyler Mitchell is Black. And, this is a first for American Vogue Magazine.

You Better Think...Think About It.

Tribute To Qeen of Soul Aretha Franklin

People walking around everyday, playing games taking score
Trying to make other people lose their minds,
ah, be careful you don't lose yours
You better think (think) think about what you're trying to do to me
Yeah, think (think, think), let your mind go, let yourself be free
You need me (need me) and I need you (don't you know)
Without each other there ain't nothing people can do
Think about it baby

Thank you

Restaurant Review of Charleston's 82 Queen

https://www.82queen.com/

It seems that every time we escape to Charleston for a weekend getaway we find something new to talk about. Tucked away on a side street off of King Street we find a new restaurant to boast about. While Esther ducked into a new shop that carries unique accessories I ventured down the alley next door and found this spot to have a salad for lunch.
Brunch is served in the green house in the second oldest restaurant in Charleston. I was too close to the building to see the beauty of the front of the building it until we were leaving. Every thing about this place meets the standard of a great place to dine. The décor, the menu and the staff are all above par.

Seersucker Suits

https://c-f-legette.pixels.com/featured/seersucker-c-f-legette.html

 Seer Sucker Style
Print

Like most popular fashions the Seer-Sucker suit of today started out as a poor-man's suit. The material was considered to be used by the underclass. But the look caught on quickly. Soon the preppy took over the fashion and it grew to assort of Southern Tradition.
During the British colonial period, seersucker was a popular material in Britain's warm weather colonies like British India. When seersucker was first introduced in the United States, it was used for a broad array of clothing items. For suits, the material was considered a mainstay of the summer wardrobe of gentlemen, especially in the South, who favored the light fabric in the high heat and humidity of the summer, especially prior to the arrival of air conditioning.

Top Golf Fun

I am a true fan of family sports outings and TopGolf is more than that.

If you want to you can dine, drink, relax, play or do all.

Finding a club shouldn't be too hard. They are starting to pop up all over now.

Find one and enjoy a great family night out.

Or, join some friends. It doesn't matter if you actually golf or not.

Everyone is in too good of a mood to notice your shanks or slices.

Enjoy.
